Proxmox + Ceph HA Cluster Build (4 Nodes) + VPC Automation
Apr 2026
Built production-style Proxmox cluster (3+1 nodes) for DevOps platform. Fixed IPMI/KVM access, mapped Cisco VLANs/LACP, deployed Proxmox+Ceph with HA and live migration, built Foreman+Puppet PXE with 3-VM VPC templates.
Flynet has done an amazing job in helping us to take this ProxMox/CEPH cluster design from concept to beta. He is extremely knowledgeable, committed and well organized.
Ceph Octopus Cluster + S3 RGW (3 Nodes, 12×18TB, HA)

Deployed Ceph Octopus cluster (3 MON/MGR, 12 OSD), configured dedicated cluster network, set up RGW on all nodes, built Erasure Coding pool (6+4). ~112 TiB usable from ~196 TB raw.

Proxmox + Ceph Production Cluster Audit & Automation (8 Nodes)

Pre-migration QA for 8-node Proxmox+Ceph cluster with Arista networking. Built Proxmox automation with Puppet, audited OS, kernel, packages, corosync, networking, logs, SMART, storage, and Ceph PG/CRUSH/latency.

Xen + Ceph Live Migration Fix (Debian Buster, No-Downtime)

Production Xen hypervisors with Ceph RBD storage. Live migration broke after Xen upgrades. Built 2-node Xen+Ceph lab, implemented xl migrate --live via nc listener + systemd unit. Migration time reduced ~22s→~13s.

Fixing Proxmox + Ceph Slow I/O (Cluster Freezes on Backups)

Production Proxmox+Ceph cluster had severe I/O slowdowns and freezes during backups. Added Zabbix visibility, traced latency to Bluestore WAL/DB, tuned SSD scheduler, rebuilt WAL/DB layouts, enabled RBD lz4 compression.

QEMU 4.1 + Xen 4.13 Ceph RBD Disk Open Failure

Production Xen hosts using Ceph RBD. After upgrade to QEMU 4.1/Xen 4.13, VMs failed to start — RBD disk open error. Reviewed QEMU RBD URI parsing changes, corrected RBD drive syntax and auth method.

Can you set up and maintain 1C-Bitrix?
Yes. Full server stack for 1C-Bitrix on Linux: web server, database, CRM configuration, backup, and ongoing maintenance. We've been doing this for years.
What payment methods do you accept?
